    Jarres immenses, pouvant contenir jusqu'à 200L, nommées pithoi. Elles servaient aux minoens à stocker l'huile, les olives, le grain et autres denrées. Ces récipiants furent ensuite utilisés par les grecs pendant 4 millénaires et sont encore fabriqué aujourd'hui.
