    The southern end of the Muriwai Beach is part of the Muriwai Beach Regional Park. The landscape is then different with steep cliffs and rocky nesting areas compared to the black sand of the beach.

    Le sud de la plage de Muriwai fait partie du parc régional du même nom. Le paysage est alors différent de la plage avec des falaises abruptes et une aire de nidification au milieu des rochers pour la colonie de fous australes.
